The answer, this painting was accepted into the juried show at the Gilpin County Arts Association. The competition was open to artists from the western states. The show will open June 1st at the Gilpin County Arts Association gallery on Eureka St. Central City. I saw this wonderful small poppy in a great little garden in Old Town and could not resist painting it. Perhaps you can see into the heart of a flower.
My son has put this image on various articles including a stamp that can be purchased on this website listed on the left. I probably will be ordering the most as I just love it. Also the drawing of Snyder's Garage is available on various articles including a hat. That hat might be great for the summer.
