There is no picture today for our expression of frustration. The building inspector was reviewing the plans with a few questions for the architect, E. J. Meade. These were the final questions for the permit. So I have my fingers crossed that the permit will be issued today or tomorrow.
Mike is busy lining up the surveyor and the excavator so we can start by the 1st of June. I am busy trying to tie up the loose ends in the contract for Mike and I.
Did speak to our new plumbing contractor ACE Plumbing concerning our specifications. Have decided to go with PEX piping rather than the traditional copper. Most people are moving away from copper as leaks have sprung up in various parts of the country and then new plumbing has to be installed which is the PEX, might as well start with it.
So something gets done everyday, but of course we are all eager to go. Everything in it's own good time I suppose.
