Unfortunately, the water system in Nederland sprung a BIG LEAK. They were losing 80,000 gallons of water a day. The town has asked everyone to please CONSERVE WATER, till they can fix the leak. There is a possibility that the town could run out of water, but the Public Works department is working diligently to stop the leak.
Channel 31 from Denver came into Robbin's Shop, Mountain Rose Hair Care, to see how she was conserving water. They hooked her up with a mike for the interview and she demonstrated what she could do to try to help out the situation with her clients.
Hopefully it will air tonight on the 9:00 news. Will let you know more tomorrow.
